On July 31, a joint session was held by the Clúster de Seguridad, Protección e Inteligencia de Baja California, A.C. and ASIS International Chapter 248 Mexico Northwest, hosted at Schneider Electric facilities.

The session featured the Command, Control, Communication and Computing Center (C2) of the Municipal Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection of Tijuana as a special guest. C2 representatives shared information on programs and technological tools that strengthen emergency response and crime prevention, highlighting initiatives such as the Purple Button (Botón Morado), Emergency Button (Botón de Emergencia), Emergency Button for Businesses (Botón de Emergencia para Comercios), and the Collaborative Video Surveillance Program.

Several success stories were also presented, demonstrating how the strategic use of video surveillance infrastructure and collaboration among authorities, businesses, and citizens have contributed to the timely response to incidents and strengthened security within the community.

We thank C2 Tijuana for sharing its experience, knowledge, and best practices with attendees, as well as Schneider Electric for its hospitality and for serving as the host of this important session. We also recognize the participation of members of the Cluster and ASIS International Chapter 248 Mexico Northwest, whose commitment and attendance strengthen knowledge sharing and collaboration between the public and private sectors for the benefit of security throughout our region.
